David Martin Obituary, Death – On September 3, 2023, at the age of 65, David John Martin, who resided in East Fallowfield Township, Pennsylvania, went dead unexpectedly at his home. After more than 37 years of marriage, Teresa Y. Rogers Martin called him her spouse. He was the son of John E. “Jack” Martin, who passed away, and Edna Rendall “Tootles” Martin, who also passed away.

He was born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jonathan Martin, who is married to Jennifer and lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and Joshua Martin, who is married to Kelsey and lives in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. David attended Octorara High School and then continued his education at York College.

After working with Container Research for many years in quality control, he had just recently retired. He was known as “Buck” by many of his friends and family members, and he was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He was an avid fan of every sport, but he particularly enjoyed watching and encouraging his son’s participation in baseball and horseback riding.

He coached Josh’s baseball teams for a good portion of his life and attended every single one of Josh’s games all the way through his adult league years. Since he was a child, he has been an avid fan of Jonathan’s equestrian competitions and has been there for him every step of the way as he has established his career. But above all else, he cherished his relationships with his family and friends.

A devoted husband to his wife, Terri, who shares his enthusiasm for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities with their three canine companions. He was a dedicated father to his two hard-working boys, Jonathan and Josh, of whom he was extremely proud. Josh and Jonathan were his pride and joy.
